Half growing, half enterprise. You'll learn sustainable production methods on our working grounds, and the costing, packaging and marketing that turn produce into income.
- Crop production & backyard gardening — growing food at scale and at home.
- Hydroponics — soil-free growing systems and how to manage them.
- Good agricultural practices (GAP) — the standards that make produce market-ready.
- Integrated pest management — protecting crops with safe, sustainable methods.
- Seedling management — raising strong seedlings through to transplant.
- Vermiculture — using worms to build soil fertility.
- Post-harvest technology — handling and storing fresh vegetables so they reach market well.
- Agribusiness & business enterprise — running your growing as a business.
- Costing, pricing, packaging & labelling — pricing your produce and presenting it for sale.
- Intellectual property management — protecting a brand or product you develop.
